There is this school of thought that when traveling, one must never ever eat fast food, let alone from an American chain restaurant. That idea seems a bit snobbish, but we can see where it stems from; that is, you want to sample local delicacies and dishes and generally, try “something new”.  But what if that “something new” comes from an American fast food chain? Uh oh.
