Let’s throw aside that we are salt purveyors for a minute and put on our objective hats: if there’s one food on Earth that benefits from a sprinkle of salt, it is unquestionably the egg. Have you ever tried egg salad that was missing salt? It’s like watching your favorite movie without any audio. Sure, you can figure out the plot and see what happens but you don’t REALLY get the full experience. Is there any food besides the egg where the absence of salt makes us so sad? Bueller?
